Privacy policy – Halvik apps and games

Applies to: Manewrownia – an app for learning harbour manoeuvres with a sailing yacht and a catamaran (on Google Play and at halvik.pl/aplikacja/)

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data is ABG Grzegorz Oleksa (sole proprietorship), ul. Miła 6, 41-500 Chorzów, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 6341173710, REGON 276985588 (we). Data protection contact: [email protected], phone +48 455 574 020.

2. In short: the app does not collect your data

  • No accounts – you do not give us your name, e-mail or phone number.
  • No access to location, camera, microphone, contacts or files on your phone.
  • No ads and no analytics or tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).
  • No data about what you do in the app is sent to us.
  • We do not sell or share data.

3. What is stored on your phone

The app stores in device storage (localStorage and the app cache): completed lessons, the chosen boat type (monohull or catamaran), settings and the app's own files so that it works offline. This stays on your phone and is not sent to us. You can remove it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.

4. Technical data when the app is downloaded

The app downloads its files and updates from our server halvik.pl. As with any website, the server receives the IP address and browser information. Our hosting provider (home.pl S.A.) may keep them in technical server logs for security and operation of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest). We do not combine them with any other data or use them for tracking.

5. In-app purchases

If you buy a paid part of the app, the payment is handled by Google Play as a separate data controller under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive card or other payment details. To confirm the purchase we receive from Google only purchase information (order ID and product), processed to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. To confirm the purchase, the app sends a purchase identifier to our server, which we check with Google Play. We do not store it or combine it with other data.

6. Contacting us

If you e-mail us, we process your address and the message to reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for as long as needed to handle the matter.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected] – we reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest. You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland), or the authority in your country.

8. Changes

When we add new features or apps, we will describe them here before they are released. This English version is for information; the Polish version prevails.

Effective from 4 November 2026.
